Message: Some people expect to have everything handed to them on a silver platter. They resent having to show proof of their situation. Yes, there may be wait times, but we are still in midst of covid and the number of families legitimately needing assistance has increased. Thank heavens there are churches in the area that can also help. I do believe those getting assistance should be required to show how they are spending every penny.. cigarettes? Going out to restaurants? Entertainment? Expensive shoes? Some are not financially responsible.
